Steve Womack, Partner in Charge

In 1985, Steve formed Stor-All Self Storage with the single goal of offering professionally managed and modern self storage to the Ohio and Kentucky regions. 

The first facility was built in Lexington won the "Best Constructed Facility" award.   Additional stores were built in Lexington and Louisville, Ky. In 1989 to 1991 Stor-All expanded to add stores in Marrero and Harvey, La., and Columbus, Ohio. Two additional locations were added to the portfolio in 1997 in Cincinnati.  Today, we own and manage 17 facilities in Kentucky and Ohio.  

When he started, Steve wrote that he wanted to provide the most safe, dry, clean, affordable, professionally run storage in the nation. To accomplish this goal all stores, he rolled out and has achieved the following:

1) Enhanced people systems which includes leadership certification for District Managers and comprehensive annual structured training for managers

2) Objective performance measurement which includes the most effective bonus plans in the industry resulting in YOY square footage improvements and profitability.

3) A business that measures results, make adjustments and re-measures.

4) Performs on-going audits and retains third-party consultants to review findings to ensure objectivity.

5) A customer care program which results in a 60% tenancy of 12 or more months, 41.7% with 24 or more months.

6) Web site and search engine optimization which has resulted in no less than 1,900 unique prospect visits to website.

7) The development of the ‘We Care’ Proprietary Collection Process to exponentially reduce the amount and number of delinquencies.
